The stated values were determined in accordance with the prescribed WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure). Fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions of a passenger car depend not only on the efficient use of fuel by the vehicle but also on driving style and other non-technical factors. CO₂ is the greenhouse gas primarily responsible for global warming. A guide on fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions of all new passenger car models offered in Germany is available free of charge at every sales location in Germany where new passenger cars are displayed or offered. The guide can also be accessed online at: https://www.dat.de/co2/. Only the CO₂ emissions generated by the operation of the vehicle are stated.
CO₂ emissions resulting from the production and provision of the vehicle as well as of the fuel or energy carriers are not taken into account in the determination of CO₂ emissions pursuant to WLTP.
² For electric vehicles and hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicles, an exemption from motor vehicle tax is granted for ten years from the date of first registration, if the first registration occurs between 18 May 2011 and 31 December 2025, but no longer than until 31 December 2030.
